These Landscapes Don’t Exist is an exhibition of photographs capturing the fleeting industrial terrains of the Mesabi Iron Range. The exhibition highlights the ephemeral nature of Minnesota’s mining landscape and the tension between the natural and industrial environments.
Smithsonian Anthology of Hip-Hop and Rap
NewStudio Gallery hosted Cey Adams for the second time in the Summer of 2022. Cey Adams: ETCetera - 40 Years of Art & Design celebrated Adam’s new work which represented his evolution from subway tagger to superstar artist. He became the Creative Director of Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons’ Def Jam Recordings, and co-founded the Drawing Board, the label’s in-house visual design firm, where he created visual identities, album covers, logos, and advertising campaigns for Run DMC, Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Notorious B.I.G., Maroon 5, and Jay-Z.
